Mediation Services

Mediation is a friendly dispute resolution method that can be applied without applying to court or while the court procedure is in progress, with the help of an impartial third party in disputes between the parties. The mediator is a mediation centre where, by applying systematic techniques, brings the parties together to negotiate so that they can understand each other better and thus, produce their own solutions and establish a communication process between them. Mediation can be in the form of facilitative mediation, which helps the parties find their own solutions, or in some cases, in the form of evaluative mediation, where the mediator can make suggestions for an appropriate solution. Since the parties can express themselves freely in the presence of a trained mediator, misunderstandings arising from the lack of communication are eliminated. In this way, the parties who understand each other better can shape their future relations more accurately. In the mediation process, where which requests and interests are clarified, it is possible to reach agreements that are unimaginably effective compared to court procedure and that make the parties satisfied by negotiating mutual solution proposals. This feature of mediation enables the parties to comply with the agreements reached voluntarily, not by the force of law.

Mediation takes its power from being future-oriented and at the end of the process, the parties mostly maintain their relations and provide peace. The most important advantage of mediation is that it allows the parties to eliminate problems of the past and plan the future in a way that prevents the occurrence of the same problems. In addition, the most important feature of mediation is being voluntary, non-binding, confidential and protects the interests of the parties.
